Enhancing the Visual Journey: Remastering Our Kinetic Novel's Cutscenes

Why Remastering Matters:

Rachel here with an exciting update on our demo's progress! I'm currently remastering old cutscenes, a critical aspect in visual novels, and especially in kinetic novels. Digital artwork creation is my passion, and technology has evolved significantly since I first created these scenes. With more advanced tools, the changes being made to the cutscenes are significant.

The Remastering Process:

Our studio now uses Clip Studio Paint EX Ver. 2.0 and Adobe Premiere Pro for the cutscenes. The process involves reviewing the old cutscene, adjusting it to match novel backgrounds, drawing characters in various layers, and adding color consistency. We bring the artwork to life using Adobe Premiere, enhancing it with transitions to create a more immersive story.

Benefits and Conclusion:

The original cutscene was good, but it didn't align with the new backgrounds and character designs. While other studios might use subpar demos, we believe that our demo should reflect our commitment to quality and make a strong impression. Our remastered cutscenes have received positive feedback, and we'll keep sharing our progress on Patreon as more scenes are remastered. Thank you for your support and stay tuned for more updates!
